Vichy Skincare

Few weeks ago amazing Chickadvisor sent me this wonderful little package with full size Vichy products. Today I would like to share my experience with you guys.
I received products that are ideal and suitable for dry skin.

Package contained:
  • Purete Thermale Cleansing foam radiance revealer
  • Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream
  • Thermal SPA water

Purete Thermale Cleansing foam radiance revealer

Great product that is perfect for dry and sensitive skin. It's a lightweight cleansing foam, that is gentle, smells amazing and cleanses perfectly.
Pump makes it very easy, hassle and mess-free to use. I like that just a little bit of product gets the job done. It's so easy to use and easy to rinse off.
After use, skin feels cleansed, fresh and looks radiant.
And I absolutely love that product didn't leave my skin feeling dry as a lot of other cleansers tend to do that.

Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream
Here is what Vichy has to say about products new formula (Vichy website):
For the first time, Vichy Thermal Spa Water is combined with 3 new-generation energizing sugars to stimulate water movement from cell to cell for a fresher more radiant complexion. (Hyaluronic Acid: a leading replumping ingredient. AquabiorylTM: patented molecule that is ultra-moisturizing and amplifies the feelings of comfort, softness and soothes during and after application. λ-carrageenans: extracted from red algae, it locks in hydration to keep the water well-distributed.) The formula also contains Shea Butter to comfort dry to very dry sensitive skin. Non-greasy, non-sticky texture for a non-oily skin finish.

Sounds really amazing. I can agree for it to be a great moisturizer for those with very dry skin.
I found it to be little too rich for my liking, especially for summer time. I didn't like it as a day cream. but I was using it for night time though - rich in texture but still lightweight.
Like all the other Vichy products that I have used, this one too, smells amazing. It has a very fresh, but not overpowering scent.

Packaging is really nice! It has a mirror lid, that I find to be a pretty awesome detail.
Cream is allergy tested and paraben free, so suitable also for those with sensitive skin.

I really like the product formula, so I think I will give it another try in fall or winter, when my facial skin will be more receptive towards richer products.

Vichy Thermal SPA water
Vichy's Thermal SPA water is a completely natural, unique ingredient recognized and used in pharmacology for its soothing, fortifying, and regenerative properties (Vichy website).

This water is rich with rear minerals and is so easy to love. I have been a huge fan of "spray water" (not sure if that's how they are called) for a good while now. And this Vichy Thermal SPA water is probably my favorite so far.
I have a dry skin and I'm not a huge fan of those hot summer days. So in summer "spray water" is with me all the time - that's how I can keep my cool on (literally and figuratively). And it's the best way to refresh the face without ruining my makeup.
Biggest difference between all the other ones I have used is that this one actually feels moisturizing. It's lightweight mist but has substance.
Product is allergy tested and is preservative free, so it will have great soothing effect on sensitive skin.
I also like to refrigerate it for a bit, for those crazy hot and humid summer days.

Vichy Works For Me

Don't we all know the feeling of running short on those hours per day? There are things that have to be done and life that has to be lived. Mr. Time doesn't care too much and then comes the morning with very tired face. Sounds familiar?
Vichy has a solution for us with those busy schedules and lifestyles.

New Idéalia Skin Sleep is especially designed for women whose nights have been cut short, and who miss that key midnight and 1 a.m. skin regeneration window.
Enriched with a powerful multi-active complex such as glycyrrhiric and hyaluronic acid working to regulate epidermal differentiation, Idéalia Skin Sleep visibly recreates the effects of regenerative sleep on skin.

Doesn't that sound amazing? I had a chance to try these amazingly promising products via ChickAdvisor product review club. Thank you ladies!

This amazing campaign package came with Idealia Life Serum and Idealia Skin Sleep.
I have tried Serum prior this campaign and I really like it. It's little different from all the other serums I have tried and seen. Mostly it's texture - creamy unlike other clear liquid ones. It also feels like cream when applied only very, very light one. Absorbs practically right away and leaves a light "pixie dust" shimmer. Very elegant scent and packaging along with the performance.
I use it in the morning routine, after I have washed my face with cleanser.

Idealia Skin Sleep was the product I really wanted to try. And before I continue, I must say, it's my new favorite night cream.
Cream comes in amazing container with mirror built into the lid, not only it adds uniqueness to the product but also convenience. Texture is almost like combination of gel and cream. Has the Idealia product line signature scent - soft floral. It disappears very quickly so it won't be distracting you. Cream is easy to apply and it also absorbs pretty quickly, leaving a protective layer with some shine. It doesn't feel heavy on my skin and is very moisturizing. Another important thing is that it didn't irritate my skin - so powerful and gentle at the same time.
Idealia Skin Sleep night cream is the last product I use before bed, after I have completed my skin care routine. Without a doubt I can say - Vichy Works For Me. In the morning no matter how early I wake up, skin doesn't look tired and is fresh and plumped with no evidence of puffiness nor pillow creases. It will have little bit of shine though, but daytime face routine takes care of that.
I would highly recommend to give this product a try. Let me know your thoughts on it.

Coppertone Sunscreen Sensitive Skin SPF50

Summer is here and so is the bright sun that we all love so much. Unfortunately our skin fears it and seeks a good protection. It's our job to remember to protect it.
No one wants s to be sitting inside when the weather is so beautiful and that's where sunscreens come handy. There are so many in the market and finding the right one might be a whole journey.

Today I will talk about my experience using Coppertone Sunscreen Lotion for sensitive skin specially made for face with SPF50, that I was given an opportunity to try via Chickadvisor amazing campaign (click here if you want to find out more about Chickadvisor and how to become one of their influensters).

This sunscreen is hypoallergenic, fragrance free, contains naturally sourced zinc oxide, is free of dyes, oils and alcohol. It's specially made for sensitive skin, so it won't irritate skin, nor will it cause breakouts.

Cream is thicker than I imagined it to be and has white creamy texture. All you have to do is just to massage it all in. It will leave some shine on your face, nothing that a light powder can't hide though. Feels light on skin, so no problems using it under your makeup.

Instructions suggested to apply the sunscreen 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours. And you will also need to reapply it after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating. It shouldn't be a problem as cream comes in a nice little container, that you can easily have on a go with all the other summer essentials.

It is also important to remember few of these tips:

  • Do not burn :)
  • Seek the shade, especially between 10A.M. and 4P.M.
  • Use sunscreen with SPF15 or higher every day
  • Remember to reapply the sunscreen every 2 hours
  • Wear UV blocking sunglasses
  • Keep an eye on your birthmarks.
And just in general, remember to take care of yourself and your skin.

Mommy's Beauty Kit by CeraVe

ChickAdvisor has been spoiling me lately. I was fortunate enough to be selected to try and review three CeraVe products via amazing Chickadvisor Product Review Club offer.

CeraVe developed with dermatologists is the first brand to contain essential ceramides, cholesterol and fatty esters that healthy skin needs. You can read little more about company, their idea and products on their website here.

Studying products very carefully :)
Very curios to see what's inside.
Today I will talk/write about these three CeraVe products, that I was testing:

  • ) Diaper Rash Cream
  • ) Intensive Stretch Marks Cream
  • ) Eye Repair Cream

First on the line is CeraVe Bebe diaper rash creme:

This product will take care of your baby's diaper rash that we know may appear here and there. Enhanced with InvisibleZinc, Vitamin E and Dimethicone, this cream helps seal of wetness and calm irritated skin. It also works to prevent unwanted and unpleasant rashes.
It's important to know that cream doesn't contain paraben, sulfate, fragrance, gluten.
As mentioned above, cream doesn't have any scent, it has a very light texture and won't leave messy and annoying product stains. I love how easy it is to apply it and that all it will leave is clear and invisible protection layer. I'm a huge fan of non pasty texture.
Earlier this week we returned home from our vacation. We had a long flight and after all the travelling and being on the road thing, my daughter developed minor diaper rash. So I decided that this is the perfect time for us to put the product in use. I will repeat myself about how much I loved the texture and appearance of the product. Rash was gone in no time, next morning there was no trace of it!
We don't really get diaper rashes, only on few occasions, but I've been using diaper rash creams to avoid unpleasant surprises. I was always turned off by a very thick, pasty, messy rash creams. I'm happy to say, this is the one for us! And very possible for you too.
I would recommend all moms and dads to try this one, it might just change your world :)

Let's continue with CeraVe Intensive Stretch Marks Cream:

Just like the product above, Cerave Intensive Stretch Marks Cream is fragrance, paraben, sulfate and gluten free. It contains all the good ingredients - argan oil, hyaluronic acid, essential ceramides, peptide, botanical complex and many others. For more detailed information visit their website, where you can also find what is each components task.
This products main goal is to help to reduce the appearance of stretch marks and to improve skins hydration and elasticity.
Cream has a very light and almost watery aka hydrating texture. Very easy to apply, it's not greasy, not sticky nor it's thick, like other stretch mark creams might be. Cream absorbs fast (one of my favorite things about it), so you won't have to wait awhile before putting your clothes on and being worried about staining them.
Products unique formula keeps skin hydrated for up to 24hours after just one application!
You can apply it as often you need or find it necessary, twice a day is all I really need. My pregnancy has left me with very few, almost invisible stretch marks (Thank you skin for being this flexible ;) ). So at the moment for me this cream works as a tool to keep my skin hydrated, healthy and elastic, and to prepare it for second pregnancy that is planned for the near future. Here you go, the secret is out!
I remember using all kinds of stretch mark creams while I was pregnant, just to prevent them. With today's knowledge in available products I would probably go with CeraVe cream for the reasons I mentioned above. While pregnant I was sensitive to smells and I couldn't find a good cream that would have been fragrance free. I remember not liking all the greasy products, wait time for cream to absorb, stickiness. If that's something you don't want to deal with, I would recommend to give CeraVe Intensive Stretch Marks cream a try. Plus in the packaging you will find discount coupons for your next stretch marks cream or any CeraVe bebe product. Who doesn't like to save some money?!

And the last but not the least of CeraVe products this time is Eye Repair Cream:
With CeraVe Eye Repair Cream you wont need to hide behind sunglasses.

Specially formulated with ceramides and hyaluronic acid, CeraVe Eye Repair Cream is designed to visibly reduce dark circles and puffiness as it repairs and restores the delicate skin barrier around your eyes.
Another amazing CeraVe product with bunch of great ingredients that you can find listed on their website here. This product just like the other ones I reviewed above, is non-irritating, hypoallergenic, fragrance, paraben and sulfate free.
Product has a very light texture, that is easy to apply, it absorbs really fast and doesn't leave a greasy trace. Cream is recommend to be used twice a day. As you will require very little amount of product per use, tube will last you a good while. "Nose" of the tube will help you to apply necessary amount of cream avoiding waste of the product.
I would recommend to look into proper eye cream application prior usage. Biggest mistake we tend to make is applying cream very close to an eye, that way sometimes causing irritation. I will add photos for better understanding.
So I have been using this cream for about a week now and I can see the difference, especially in my morning look. Skin around my eyes really looks more healthier, smoother and brighter. Fine lines I have seem little less visible. I believe there might be even better results after longer use of the product.
The left side would be the right one.  Use your orbital bone as your guideline, there is no need to apply cream higher than that. Use your ring finger for gentler touch. And then just with tapping motion gently apply product under the eye, don't rub or pull, as skin under the eye is very delicate.
Don't do the right side application, cream is way too close to your eye.

I hope you enjoyed my post and please share your experience with CeraVe product in comments section, I would love to hear what you have to say.

Batiste Dry Shampoo

I got this product from Chickadvisor as part of Product Review Club Offer.

I was very excited to try it. As I was so interested in dry shampoo products for so long, but never could decide on a brand and kind. Thank you, Chickadvisor, for offered opportunity.

Batiste Dry Shampoo I received came in nice and compact size. Perfect on a go or great for a trip/vacation.

I decided that today would be a perfect day to try it out as my hair is little oily and could use a hair wash. Instructions read, nothing complicated - very easy to use. Smell is great, I would say somewhere citrus-y. Doesn't have that traditional hair care product scent, that I was pleasantly surprised about.

I will add photo, I don't know if you'll be able to see the difference, I hope you will :)
Overall my experience with it was great and it worked as promised!! I was surprised that not only my hair doesn't look oily they also gained some volume!! Definitely worth having, for those times when your hair needs refreshing and hair wash is not an option!

My best friend was waiting for me to try this product, as she washes her hair everyday, I can let her know now that it works!! Thanks to the Batiste Dry Shampoo, she probably will be able to sleep in few mornings now :)

Recommend!
