Last week I wrote about Pure + Simple Fresh Canadian Brands #sofreshsogreen event. I had an amazing time and privilege to learn more about local and organic skincare brands. I also promised to talk and tell you guys more about the ones I had opportunity to learn more via their amazing products.

So today's post goes to "Sattva Pure" brand.

Sattva Pure products will have you glowing from head to toe, being 100% natural. On their website you will find that all of the products are vegan and free from parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates, SLS, SLES, synthetic colors and synthetic fragrances. They source organic and fair-trade ingredients whenever possible.

Products smell so nice, that I have to stop myself from wanting to eating them.

Someone said, that lime scented scrub and body lotion smells like Margaritas - and they totally do. Very refreshing and delicious scent.

I'm a mom of a toddler and a newborn. And I think you can imagine how tired I might get and how high my stress levels are. Products like these, that are made from natural ingredients and scented with essential oils, are on my favorites list.

Lavender is known for it's calming and relaxing characteristics. It's been used for alleviating insomnia, anxiety, depression, restlessness, stress. It has also been proven effective for nearly all kinds of ailments, from pain to infections. Lavender is amazing. I have to admit that I have a weakness for this flowering plant - from it's looks to it's use. 

I loved Sattva Pure lavender body wash and body butter for evening shower. Products not only smelt and felt great, but also worked as a calming element in my life. 

Body wash has a strong lavender scent that nicely evaporates in contact with water and steam. It's formulated with natural sugars and coconut oils, and is anti-inflammatory, so great for sensitive skin. 

I have a dry skin, so I'm a huge body butter fan. Sattva Pure lavender ultra hydrating body butter is rich in texture and scent, and I love that it's not greasy. A lot of other ones, I have used before, always had greasy finish. And who likes that?
After use skin feels well moisturized and so very smooth. Absorbs really quick - I love that a lot. 

Sattva Pure lime body scrub not only smells like Margarita, it looks a lot like one too. You need to be very careful when using it - it's a body scrub - for external use only. Regular use of this scrub will remove dead skin cells and deliver better and healthier skin appearance. 

In combination with fast absorbing lime body lotion, it will help your body not only look good and feel refreshed, but also smell amazing.

P.S. And how could I forget to mention - it safe for your little ones too! My daughter that is almost three - loves lime lotion. And me being a sneaky parent - I use the lavender body butter after her bath before bed - sweet dreams are made of lavender ;)

Fresh Canadian Brands

Last week amazing Pure + Simple organized #SoFreshSoGreen - Fresh Canadian Brands - event. It was celebrating launch and existence of amazing Canadian natural skincare brands. And I was between the lucky ones, that got invited to the celebration. 

Event took place at Pure + Simple Yorkville SPA location which, by the way, is very cute and welcoming. Definitely going back there for some SPA treatments.

I met so many happy and proud faces behind the brands. I am so happy that I was invited, as I learned so much and was introduced to so many amazing locally made natural skincare brands.

I like how much more educated we all are getting, when it comes to organic, environment friendly and natural skincare, cosmetics, foods etc. And the fact that there is much more to choose from is fantastic.

So once again, thank you Pure + Simple for this event, that allowed me and many others to soak in the information and knowledge about bunch of locally made organic skincare products. And for the opportunity to meet enthusiastic and passionate people behind the brands.

WaterWipes - The World's Purest Baby Wipes

Today my post will be about this great product that I received via Jule's Basket Instagram giveaway. WaterWipes (99.9% water and 0.1% fruit extract) - baby wipes that are suitable from birth. 

If you plan on using these on your baby, wipes will help to avoid the diaper rash and will significantly reduce risk of allergic reactions on your baby's sensitive skin. 

WaterWipes are preservative free, non greasy and are extra soft to a touch. As mentioned before, they are super pure - made using water and grapefruit seed extract.

I love that these wipes are non greasy and won't leave greasy residue. WaterWipes have won several awards, like PTPA, Health Professional review awards and others, as you can see in the attached picture:

I tested WaterWipes on both of my kids - my newborn and a toddler - used wipes for their faces and their bums :), they worked great for both of them, cleaned the mess without a hassle and left no skin irritation.

Smells really nice and very fresh - not your traditional baby wipes smell.
I think this was one of the reasons why I liked to use WaterWipes on myself too - great after workouts for quick refreshing before I get home to my shower, amazing on a hot summer day to wipe away that sweat - face wasn't left greasy, nor it felt dried out, just perfectly refreshed and smelling nice.

I would definitely recommend to all the moms and dads to try these out and I know for a fact, that I want to purchase these in future.
