Tease with Teeez

Teeez Cosmetics - a brand that will bring a lot of joy and surprises. I just have the feeling.

Teeez Cosmetics is a European brand, created in the Netherlands in 2004. Their makeup is fun and bold, bright and different. It definitely stands out!

This is what they say about themselves:

"We are exclusive. Eccentric. And obsessed with fashion. Our passion is to continuously surprise and seduce you each season, where we invent a new kind of beauty."*

After reading this, it all makes sense now. A cosmetic brand that is obsessed and inspired by fashion. Does it get any better? 

Teeez fascination with fashion is noticeable not only in the products themselves but also packaging. It's so pretty and unique. 

Packaging is one of the many things that draws me to this brands. What's very different and super cute is that a few of the products even have a nice little message inside the packaging, which also makes it perfect as a gift.

The Teeez Cosmetics product I'm currently loving a lot is Sealed With A Kiss Lip Duo in Orchid Spirit. It looks like a bullet and will blow your mind away.

This amazing lipstick is from their Sugar Rush collection and comes in 16 different shades. As I mentioned above, mine is in Orchid Spirit. 

As the name would suggest, you get 2 in 1. One end gives you intense matte with amazing pigment and coverage, and the other end delivers a super glossy look.

I like to apply the matte first and then glossy on top, as it gives my lips nice dimension and fuller lip look. 

Lipstick is long lasting (it really is), moisturizing and isn't sticky. That's like perfection. It has a sweet and almost fruity but light scent.

Teeez Cosmetics launch a new collection each season, where every collection has a story to tell. I keep falling in love with the brand more and more, and can't wait to see what they will bring us next.

Dear Teeez, we will meet again very soon, that I know. I have a list of a few products, that I have my eye on. Keep surprising!

Vichy Skincare

Few weeks ago amazing Chickadvisor sent me this wonderful little package with full size Vichy products. Today I would like to share my experience with you guys. 

I received products that are ideal and suitable for dry skin.

Package contained: 

• Purete Thermale Cleansing foam radiance revealer
• Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream
• Thermal SPA water

Purete Thermale Cleansing foam radiance revealer

Great product that is perfect for dry and sensitive skin. It's a lightweight cleansing foam, that is gentle, smells amazing and cleanses perfectly. 

Pump makes it very easy, hassle and mess-free to use. I like that just a little bit of product gets the job done. It's so easy to use and easy to rinse off.
After use, skin feels cleansed, fresh and looks radiant. 

And I absolutely love that product didn't leave my skin feeling dry as a lot of other cleansers tend to do that.

Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream

Here is what Vichy has to say about products new formula (Vichy website):

For the first time, Vichy Thermal Spa Water is combined with 3 new-generation energizing sugars to stimulate water movement from cell to cell for a fresher more radiant complexion. (Hyaluronic Acid: a leading replumping ingredient. Aquabioryl^TM: patented molecule that is ultra-moisturizing and amplifies the feelings of comfort, softness and soothes during and after application. λ-carrageenans: extracted from red algae, it locks in hydration to keep the water well-distributed.) The formula also contains Shea Butter to comfort dry to very dry sensitive skin. Non-greasy, non-sticky texture for a non-oily skin finish. 

Sounds really amazing. I can agree for it to be a great moisturizer for those with very dry skin.
I found it to be little too rich for my liking, especially for summer time. I didn't like it as a day cream. but I was using it for night time though - rich in texture but still lightweight.

Like all the other Vichy products that I have used, this one too, smells amazing. It has a very fresh, but not overpowering scent.

Packaging is really nice! It has a mirror lid, that I find to be a pretty awesome detail.

Cream is allergy tested and paraben free, so suitable also for those with sensitive skin.

I really like the product formula, so I think I will give it another try in fall or winter, when my facial skin will be more receptive towards richer products.

Vichy Thermal SPA water

Vichy's Thermal SPA water is a completely natural, unique ingredient recognized and used in pharmacology for its soothing, fortifying, and regenerative properties (Vichy website).

This water is rich with rear minerals and is so easy to love. I have been a huge fan of "spray water" (not sure if that's how they are called) for a good while now. And this Vichy Thermal SPA water is probably my favorite so far.
I have a dry skin and I'm not a huge fan of those hot summer days. So in summer "spray water" is with me all the time - that's how I can keep my cool on (literally and figuratively). And it's the best way to refresh the face without ruining my makeup.
Biggest difference between all the other ones I have used is that this one actually feels moisturizing. It's lightweight mist but has substance.
Product is allergy tested and is preservative free, so it will have great soothing effect on sensitive skin.
I also like to refrigerate it for a bit, for those crazy hot and humid summer days.

Givenchy Art Of Perfumery

Our always charming host and beauty guru - Dave Lackie

Earlier this week I had a truly magical time at Givenchy #ArtOfPerfumery dinner. I was one of the few lucky ones that had a chance to attend and experience this amazing event in person. And so many  of Dave's followers and beauty enthusiasts from all around the world were with us via social media platforms like Twitter, Periscope etc.
It's not too late to relive the hype, just follow the #ArtOfPerfumery and you will be taken back in time to our Givenchy dream.

Always charming Dave Lackie knows how to make you feel special. By letting you be an insider to the beauty world and to experience the beauty enthusiast dream, he opens doors to a function normally only accessible to VIP journalists and experts, and allows one to experience something you wouldn't be able to, unless you're a beauty world professional. 

The event took place at Arcadian Studio - located in the downtown core. From the 8th floor you're able to see people running through their daily routines, while you're able to pause yours and indulge.

"Hot Couture"

Upon arrival, the amazing and different scents of Givenchy perfume created a magical ambiance inviting you in and hypnotizing.

Giggles, chats, camera clicks, old and new friendships, posing, hugs and kisses. It's all there. Those are a few things that make Dave Lackie events so amazing - they are real and heartwarming.

The nights cocktails matched fragrances with their signature ingredients and twist - pretty amazing and different.

My choice for the events refreshments were Gentelmen Only and Irrisistable - very refreshing and light, just like the fragrances themselves.

When the official mingling part is over (it never is, just so you know, as everyone is so high from living this dream like evening, it's hard to follow the schedule), it's time for dinner.

Service and menu never disappoint - "Oliver & Bonacini" took care of us like there's no tomorrow.

Grilled Eggplant & Buffalo Mozzarella; Lemon & Rosemary Chicken Supreme; O&B Artisan Pecan Pie and pink fortune cookie with inspiring message.

After some delicious food and outstanding dessert, Dave introduced us with Givenchy Fragrances Canada general manager David Titheridge. Very charming, knowledgeable and humble man. David shared some great inside stories with us accompanied with laughter, along with some brand history.

With more knowledge, it was even more interesting to go and look at the fragrances again. Scents and presentation now created a different and more complete picture/vision.

 

After saying never-ending goodbyes (common practice at Dave's events), it was time to return to reality. Reliving beautiful fairy-tale like memories via photos, tweets, posts and hypnotizing aromas from generously gifted fragrances we received in our gift bags. ,

Military Red By BURBERRY

Burberry - British luxury fashion house, that not only focuses on fashion, accessories and fragrances but also cosmetics! I'm sure you were already aware of that.

I'm a big fan of fashion brand's cosmetic collections - not only color will be in trend but also the execution and visual performance of the product will match your current fashion trend. 

I have always liked Burberry - it is very luxury and chic but at the same time very understandable.

Now let's talk lipstick.

I was very lucky to win this beauty via Dave Lackie's giveaway - so very grateful. Always.
Red is classic and always will be. It also has been really trending for a good while now but I have not been brave enough to try it, nor to wear it.

By getting my hands on this beauty, I really didn't have much of a choice.

My Burberry Kisses N.109 in Military Red came in mini pocket size casing with traditional and signature pattern on both - casing and lipstick itself. Very cute. Added that luxury feel right away.

I fell in love with the lipstick and color right away. It's so smooth and easy to apply, last a good while and looks fabulous. Addition to that, it comes with added value - instant confidence!

Lise Watier HYDRAFORCE

Few weeks ago I received Lise Watier Hydraforce cream via GlamSense campaign.

I have been using the cream since and I'm ready to share my experience.

Lise Watier is a Canadian cosmetic brand, launched in 1972 by Madame Lise Watier. Here is something that the brand says about their HydraForce Hydra-Protective Creme-Gel (from website):

The formula’s effectiveness lies on the remarkable power of Gaspé Algae Extract. A survivor of harsh environments, the Gaspé algae has developed a highly efficient resistance system, enabling it to thrive in severe conditions. Its extract guarantees the skin’s global hydration, transforming it into a veritable defensive shield.

Package I received contained HydraForce Cream and little cute gadget that measures skins moisture level. Cream has gel texture and smells divine - little sweet and very fresh.I measured moisture levels before I started to use the product and retested again after using it for few weeks - progress was visible in percentage numbers and also visually I was able to see the improvements. 

Skin didn't look dry, dull, it actually looked radiant. I'm curious to see further improvements.

Lise Watier HydraForce Cream is working and provides good results. In addition to that, it's made in Canada and I find it very important to support the local market.

I'm happy I was fortunate enough to be selected for this GlamSense campaign. Now I'm curious to try other Lise Watier products, that I'm sure are as great as this one.

CoverGirl TruBlend

As I'm still looking for that one and only ( little too dramatic, won't you say?!) foundation in my life, I was happy to hear that I got selected for BzzAgent's Covergirl #embraceyourface campaign. 

I received the product in no time and was excited to give it a try, to see if CoverGirl TruBlend is my true one.

Coordinate complementary truBLEND products based on your number for a seamlessly flawless nude look that blends in and virtually disappears.*

Shade I picked was Golden Beige - M3. 

It's hard to pick one in real life, but task got harder when I needed to make the decision online. After comparing and studying offered shades, I finally chose one.

Let the games begin, I thought after receiving the product (no, not really, I just think it sounds cool).

At first try, I thought that shade was too dark/yellowish for me and I wasn't expecting foundation to be that thick either. I actually didn't like it at first. 

I gave it another try, when I couldn't find my other foundation I was using at the time. And I have to admit that my opinion have changed.

Shade actually is blending nicely with my skin tone and I have to say, it is still thicker that other foundations I have used, but after application, you can't even tell that. 

Skin gets a good coverage and looks natural. It's not long lasting though. If you have a long day ahead of you, you will need to reapply it. 

This wasn't the love at first sight but product seems to be working. 

If you're also still in search for foundation and it doesn't have to be long lasting, give it a try. Price is affordable and brand has a lot of good products on it's list.

#ClarinsBeauty magic via DAVE LACKIE

Earlier this week I was one of the 20 lucky ones, that had the privilege and honor to be invited to Dave Lackie's  #ClarinsBeauty VIP dinner at Arcadian Studio in Toronto.

I was head over heels happy and excited, when I received an invitation to the diner and I didn't know what to expect. Let me just say, everything was even better then I could have imagined. 

Beautiful flower arrangements, an amazing vibe, positive people, charming smiles and such warmth. Just to say the least. 

Meeting people that you've felt you have known for the longest time was just magical (oh Twitter Power). And they say, that we are losing human connection with the presence of social media.. Oh well, not in this case, I'll tell ya. 

The Clarins name has been around and known since 1954. It's quite impressive for a brand to be alive, to be knows and to be admired for this long. I remember my mom using Clarins skin care decades ago and now I am using their products too. If that's not a quality statement then I don't know what is.

All of us, wonderful women - Dave Lackie fans and Twitter followers, had an opportunity not only to be treated like known beauty editors, but also had the privilage to meet, chat, cheer, dine and share a laugh and a hug with fabulous and charming Eric Antoniotti - Clarins International Artistic and Training Director. Yes, that's right. Weren't we lucky? Yes, we were.

This man was so passionate about what he does, it was almost addictive.

Eric gave us more knowledge about Clarins products, beauty tricks and tips and shared some great stories and jokes.

This fantastic interaction was accompanied by a gourmet diner, that looked so good, everyone felt the strong need to snap a picture prior to attacking it with utensils. (It tasted picture perfect as well.)

Doesn't this all sound like it couldn't get any better?! Well it did, we all received an early Christmas present - a fantastic gift bag filled with amazing Clarins skincare and beauty products:
